| Primo Lime Putty is made of 98% pure calcium carbonate from one of the purest lime sources in North America. Our lime is slaked with water, passed through a fine sieve, and aged for a minimum of 90 days. This results in a rich putty that is suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Lime putty has been traditionally used in the building industry for hundreds of years. It can be used as a masonry mortar and plaster base, as well as, in limewashes and in fresco painting. Our aged lime putty is the base for all of our plasters. As the lime reacts with carbon dioxide and calcifies, it returns to its natural state: stone. | |||||
